Painting in Entropy
I'm super excited to have a painting featured as part of Entropy's wonderful "Where to Submit" series of posts. "Where to Submit: August + September 2016" has my painting "#87" right at the top of the post. It's still an abstract work, but unlike a lot of my paintings—which are just entirely abstract—this one is an abstract rendering of a real scene. So you might take a look and see a sunset. Maybe. If you look hard. It's one of my least obtuse pieces. That much I can say for sure.
And I have to thanks Dennis James Sweeney for getting in touch about featuring the painting! I'm just thrilled to be part of a series that I actually consult when I'm thinking about submitting art and writing to lit mags.
